Awesome service and food. We weren't quite sure what to get but she recommended some things for our group to get and it was all fantastic. No one was disappointed. Serves Japanese and Korean dishes.

I've ate a lot of Korean food from Michigan to Florida to South Carolina. This place honestly is the most well rounded, good food, good side dishes, perfect balance and great service to top it all off. You can tell Mama Kim's team loves their work and their morale is high. Honestly worth a visit if you're in town! Love all the food here

Overpriced but I guess what can you expect from downtown. Ordered a side of fried rice and it was just a bowl of rice with hibachi sauce, was expecting things that you usually get with fried rice like egg and vegetables to be in it, definitely not worth 3 dollars. Sushi was alright

Love, love, love Mama Kim and her amazing food! This is a downtown Charleston fixture for locals and college students. We have been going there for years, and now our children love it too. I definitely recommend going! PS: It's bigger than it looks from he street as there is seating and bigger tables in the back. Her dumplings are the best! Great sushi too. :)

Mama Kim’s is the absolute best place for a quick bite or if you’re looking for that right meal to satisfy your hunger. Mama kim has consistently been a figure in the restaurant and makes sure you leave with a smile. Going to the College of Charleston for 4 years this was one of my main spots. Affordable and delicious it hit the two big points all college kids need. The restaurant has memorabilia placed around that you can see how involved they are with the community and CofC/Citadel. A home-town favorite for all who go to college, this is for certain a must have for anyone visiting Charleston.
